PRIVATE SALE WITH WELL OVER 6 YEARS MG WARRANTY REMAINING - Bought direct from MG on 21st Dec 2024, pre-registered with 60 miles on the clock (moving between dealerships, this was not a demonstrator) hence showing as 1 previous owner. This was a present to my wife and was intended to be a "forever" car - she had her last one 14 years before a learner wrote it off. Bless 'em! WHY FOR SALE? - Tesla are offering 5 years interest free deals at the moment, so on an impulse we ordered a new style Model Y and rather than lose 30k on my model 3, the MG has to go instead. To be honest, I can get more than WBAC etc. will offer by selling privately, while the buyer gets the cheapest car of this spec and mileage, safe in the knowledge it has years of warranty, plus some useful extras. CONDITION- It is absolutely immaculate, genuinely, apart from one door ding some thoughtless person gifted to us - see photos. USEFUL EXTRAS WE FITTED - Because it was never intended to be sold it has had the somewhat marginal Maxxis tyres replaced with 4 Pirelli All Season tyres, that cost almost 700 quid and beat Michelin Cross Climate 2 in a Tyre Review comparison. A VIOFO Wi-Fi dashcam has been fitted and stays in the car (Tesla has them as standard, so there's no point in me removing it). This has voice control so, for example, saying "Lock the video" does exactly that as you drive, so you can capture footage on the move without taking your hands off the wheel. We have fitted a WiFi dongle so you get access to Apple Car play and Android Auto wirelessly instead of having to plug in every time. The car also has excellent quality moulded floor mats front and rear. That may not sound too sexy, but the lip all round keeps mud, snow, water etc on top of the mats so you can pull them out and hose them down. BATTERY AND RANGE - this has an "LFP" battery which means it is happy going from 100% to 0 without any issues, daily or as often as you like. This means you can use the full available range not just 80% as on my model 3 and other Lithium Ion cars. Current range is showing as 190 miles at 100% (see photos) and this drops to about 145 in the winter. However, the remote app does give you a battery pre-heat function that will extend range in the winter. REMOTE MG APP - being the Trophy model, you can control locking/unlocking, air conditioning/heating functions from anywhere using your phone. You can also set up charging and review vehicle status from the same app.
