Description

It's time to say goodbye to our faithful Landy. She failed her MOT in February with the main item being rear sub-frame. Please see online for full (other details). It's such a shame as she drives really well and the engine accelerates slightly better than the Range Rover Evoque replacement we just bought. Unfortunately, as the car is now declared SORN, you won't be able to test drive it on the public road next to us. That said our driveway is a good 40 yards long so I'd be happy to let you accelerate from one end to the other, into second gear (good test for the brakes as well I suppose!). Ultimately, whilst the risk is entirely yours, once legally yours, I would recommend putting it on a trailer. If you want to bring a mechanic over to examine the sub-frame before buying, that's absolutely fine but I don't have any wheel ramps. I haven't photographed absolutely every tiny blemish: suffice to say the bodywork condition is what you would probably expect for a 15-year old car. I've instead provided 4 supplementary photos of minor faults/damage, namely: 1. Rear off-side wheel arch dent 2. Very minor rear near-side wheel arch dent 3. Glove box compartment latch inoperative (hence bungee chord - this ensures the compartment light is extinguished) 4. Front number plate passed the MOT but, as you can see, is split in two and glued together Also, please note that whilst the car has been stationary these last couple of months, the rear near-side tyre has somehow deflated (unlikely a puncture as was fully inflated for the MOT). The good news, as you can see in one of the photos, is that the spare tyre is (I had no idea...) completely brand new, so I've swapped them over (so yes you have a jack and wheel nut un-locker in boot). The car comes with 2 remote key fobs. I unintentionally photographed the front interior after removing both floor mats and so included the additional photos to show that all 4 floor mats are included (official Land Rover). The cream leather seats show no obvious wear-and-tear whatsoever, whereas the gear-stick cover is a bit patchy. Finally please note the brand new extra petrol cap in the boot photo.
