Description

Hi, here's my loved manual 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero (210 bhp) with full service history and a huge amount of paperwork showing it has been well cared for throughout its life. It has done 125000 miles though the odometer reads 159000 due to a replaced instrument cluster a few years ago (these were a weak point in these older Saabs). There is a note explaining this in the service book and if you check the MOT mileage the previous owner is doing under 5000 miles a year then in 2020 it increases 40000 in the year when the instrument cluster is replaced. The Saab is in great condition, especially for a car of its age. Very comfortable, mechanically sound and the engine is a joy to drive. It's still deceptively quick, so fun when the turbo kicks in and handles particularly well following a suspension overhaul in 2023 (receipts in photos). I love this car and it has taken me all over the country on road trips but I now have a job where I have to do lots of miles so am having to get a diesel or small petrol. It's still my daily so mileage will increase a bit until sold. Good bits: - Full service history (last 2 services completed by owner, rest by garages) and original owners folder and vehicle handbook (in photos) - ULEZ free - Convertible roof works great, no issues - Bluetooth unit with microphone for calls - Has the premium stock speaker system (definitely an important option on these Saabs) - 4 New Goodyear Eagle F1's in September 2024 - ECU heatshield installed (necessary preventative measure for 9-3s) - Suspension overhaul in October 2023, very tight handling now - Recent oil and filter change - Radiator upgrade in March 2025 - Full leather upholstery optioned. In good condition with no rips - Cruise control - 2 working keys - 2005 model so lower tax - Can throw in 4 litres of Saab branded oil for you that I have left from recent oil change Things to be aware of: - It's a 20 year old car so bodywork isn't perfect but no significant damage like dents - Heated seats don't work (may just be a fuse but was never something I cared about so didn't explore) - Some underbody corrosion (expected for car of this age) but not structural I hope someone with a love of these old Saabs can keep giving it the love it deserves and keep showing up those 320ds and A4s.
