Recently driven to London without any issues, it remains a dependable and characterful example of early '90s Audi engineering. Powered by a 2.0L petrol engine with a manual gearbox, it starts first time and drives well. The car features a factory-fitted sunroof and electric windows, along with comfortable original cloth interior trim. All tyres have good tread all around, and the bodywork, while showing some small areas of rust on the wing arches, is very respectable for its age. There are a few minor quirks to note. The offside front (OSF) door doesn't stay open and will need slight attention. The headlining is sagging slightly at the rear, and the odometer has not recorded much mileage since at least 2006, which appears to be a long-standing, unaddressed issue. The coolant temperature needle works intermittently, but the speedometer and fuel gauge both function correctly. Dashboard lights behave as expectedilluminating at start-up and turning off once running. All in all, this is a very usable classic Audi with plenty of character.
