Description

1 of just 4 Alfa Romeo 145 Juniors currently registered in the UK. Classic Alfa Red paint is actually in very good condition for its age and is a very rich, bright red in most places. Plastic factory Junior side skirts have gone a bit pink and over the last few months has started to develop some lacquer peel on the bonnet and roof. I have had the car just over a year, putting nearly 10,000 faultless miles on it during that time. In my ownership I have had a custom power flow Catback exhaust made and fitted, fitted an ultra rare set of factory speedline split rim look alloy wheels wrapped in Nankang NS-2R sticky track day tyres. Other nice original features include the Blue Junior seats and junior embroider floor carpets. I have also freshened up the factory matte black finish on the front and rear bumpers, replaced the front and rear badges and fitted a new rear wiper although the wiper itself doesn't work. I have been underneath and had all wheels off and the car is in great condition. With no concerns about rust. There are a two small repairs from past ownership but this has been done to a high standard and as a result passed its most recent MOT in October 2024 with 0 advisories. As mentioned the car has been driven most days over the past year as my daily driver and I have lived every minute of it but the time has come to part ways and recoup some funds for my 147 Racecar. I have performed a couple of oil changes (Selenia 10-60) in the past year. During which something very interesting was spotted. This 1.6 Junior is actually fitted with its 150bhp 2.0 brother from 145 Cloverleaf. I was aware a new engine had been installed after the previous owner ran it low on oil but what he didn't know was the garage threw in a 2.0 not a 1.6! As a result I also purchased a brand new 2.0 Twinspark ECU for the car to optimise its running and performance. It's certainly not fast by today's standards but you will appreciate the extra torque and power the 2.0 offers and the custom exhaust sounds incredible in town and provides some lovely, natural pops on the overrun. I'll be sad to see the car go and have loved every minute of ownership.
