Unfortunately I am having to sell this vehicle due to a new company car arriving. Purchased as a reliable value for money car and it has been just that. I have maintained it to the extent that I would be keeping it for many more years as can be seen from the invoices. Car is great to drive around the city and cruises with ease on the motorways, making any long distance journey feel effortless especially with the adaptive cruise control. In town I get around 40mpg and on the motorway 55-60mpg which is amazing. As seen in the spec sheet (in the images) the car was built with added extras which were 18inch alloys, rear view camera, and automated parking pilot. Parking pilot is where the vehicle will steer itself into and out of a suitable parking spot with parallel and bay parking. Gearbox oil and filter were replaced in April 2023 at 121,763 miles so doesn't need to be done for another 29,000 miles or so. Timing belt & waterpump replaced in April 2021 on 74,149 miles. Works I have done to the car: - Upgraded infotainment screen to larger VW touch screen version (I still have the original which the buyer can take as well) - Activated carplay/android auto (wireless dongle will be thrown in with sale, so no cable is needed to use this feature) - Activated voice control - Exterior temperature sensor changed in October 2023 - Front discs & pads changed March 2024 - Battery upgraded to heavy duty one November 2024 (car now starts with no hesitation even in freezing cold weather) - Rear shock absorbers replaced March 2025 - Brake fluid replaced March 2025 The bodywork and interior of the car are in good condition for a car of this age, and pictures have been taken to show up close anything visible on the bodywork. The benefit of this car being a 2016 model is that it did not come with the adblue system which 2017 models came with, so there are no adblue issues to worry about, and it still qualifies for clean air zones including ULEZ in London. It has 2 keys and full original VW document pack. As you may have already realised it has been owned by a VW enthusiast and therefore looked after carefully. The buyer of this vehicle can be confident of many more years and miles if maintained in the same way. MOT valid until 17/04/2026 with no advisories.
