Bought in early 2023 as a stopgap whilst I contemplated the fate of my old Volvo, I ended up owning this one for two years and 30,000 miles. It has working heated seats and air conditioning and a factory fit towbar with working electrics for trailer and caravan. The interior is generally good bar wear to the material on the driver's seat base and saggy headlining and a couple of blown bulbs on the centre console heating controls. Mechanically the car is very good - it was a courtesy car for Cecil and Larter Volvo in Bury St Edmunds for some 10 years before I bought - so has had a lot of genuine parts fitted over the years, including cambelt at 111,000 miles. They will veryfiy the history they hold if you call them. During my time with the car I have serviced it every 10,000 miles with 5W40 fully synthetic oil. Other work done includes: Alternator - new clutch (yes they have clutches - I didn't know) and bearings OSR brake caliper and coil spring Rear exhaust silencer Front wheel bearings (both sides) Brake pads all round Replacement gearknob and bushings (to make the shift as tight as it should be) Tyres all good - any inspection and testing most welcome.
