Description

The time has come to sell my lovely Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Dynamic Lux, which I have owned since 17th September 2013. The first owner was Jaguar Land Rover themselves, which they used in the showroom as a demo model from first registration on 1st March 2013. I can truly say that this vehicle has been absolutely perfect, and has been a complete delight to run. It has been cared for extremely well, as can be seen from the photos. The Freelander is top of the range for the year, including Sat Nav, Heated Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Fantastic Stereo System with Bluetooth capability, and many more features. Has been serviced yearly - the first 3 years by Land Rover dealership (in order to maintain the 3 year warranty), and then by a reputable 3rd Party garage thereafter. I have been careful to ensure the services have complied fully with the point checklist used by Land Rover themselves (covering Service Types A & B at the relevant interval periods), including the replacement of the Timing Belt in May 2021. All filters have been replaced when they should have been, as this was a key factor when ensuring compliance with the vehicle Maintenance Schedule. MoT valid until 1st March 2026, and I have all previous Tax Discs (when physical tax discs were used), and all relevant invoice paperwork for work done to date. The tow bar has not seen a great deal of work either, occasionally towing a trailer of garden waste to the recycling centre. It has towed a horse-box twice only, and did an excellent job both times, most likely due to the fact that this is the 2.2 SD4 engine, and not the age-old TD4 version. The wheels on this high-spec Freelander version are of the diamond cut type, which (as budding FL enthusiasts will know) do tend to show some corrosion over time, it's simply the nature of the material. My FL is no different, although I have had all 4 wheels re-done about 6 years ago, but they are starting to show minor wear signs again, mostly caused by the lovely weather we have in Scotland!!! Not a big issue, but worth noting. The vehicle is a lovely example of what I view as one of Land Rover's best designs, and has to be viewed to fully appreciate. With the low miles, nearly all done by me, the car is a considerable opportunity for anyone interested in purchasing a very good Freelander 2 with a very high factory spec. Viewings very welcome. Open to sensible negotiation.
