Description
93,011 miles and just 3 previous owners.
6-speed manual gearbox.
From long-term ownership by Maserati Club member and enthusiast.
Verde Brooklands with grey leather and green carpet.
One of the rare manual gearbox cars, this 3200GT was sold new in the UK in June 2000 by Graypaul Loughborough to it's first owner in Leicestershire. It was specified in Verde Brooklands with grey leather and green carpet and covered around 6,000 per annum for the first few years, serviced by Graypaul. In 2005, it was they who then supplied the car again to the second owner in Nottingham who was to keep it another five years before selling to the current owner in 2010. At that time, the mileage was 44,800.
The current owner bought this car in early retirement and the world of Maserati became an enduring hobby for him. He joined the Maserati Club and became a familiar face at events and being from an engineering background, researched, discussed, fettled and generally enthused about the 3200. He was a great supporter of the model and learnt all of the potential foibles along the way, though making sure that he kept his own car out of trouble.
However, he wasn't afraid to use it and it continued to average around 4,000 miles a year until 2022, when sadly the owner became ill and the car was laid up. As much as he was able, he continued to look after it in his garage at home, but sadly it is now for sale on behalf of his estate.
Servicing and more in-depth maintenance work during his ownership has been carried out by us at McGrath including religious cam belt changes and while this car has now done 93,000 miles, not surprisingly it presents and drives like one with half the mileage. It also has an obsessive history file. So if you think you could be a 3200 owner then this car is a very good place to start.
This 3200GT is available to view at our premises and will be handed over with a new service (including cam belt replacement) and a long MOT.
