Description
Very reluctant sale of my 2002 Caterham 7 Academy / Roadsport due to other priorities. The 7 is in fantastic and up to date mechanical condition - no work is required.
Significant and extensive maintenance and mechanical refresh undertaken by DPR Motorsport in December 2024 along with the MOT and prior to that in July 2021, a few miles earlier. Details of work done and the significant spend is available on request.
This car deserves to be driven and is a great opportunity for you to acquire a fantastic entry level Caterham for track use, racing or the country roads.
I have owned since new when I competed in the Academy in 2002 and Roadsport B series in 2003.
Garaged for my entire ownership and the car's lifetime and only driven in the dry months.
Avon ZZS tyres new in 2021 with only light wear from a single track day in April 2025, the only track day in the past 15+ years.
The DPR mechanic commented that overall the 7 is in better condition than many of the more recent cars he looks after!
The British Racing Green body parts show some of the wear and tear from the racing, however, and these can be easily replaced.
The car is 100% original with no modifications apart from a recent upgrade to braided rear brake lines.
I have the original drivers Tillett seat (in addition to the passenger Tillett seat in the photo), the lightly used roof, separate tonneau cover, a spare set of wheels and old tyres, a selection of front anti-roll bars, the additional rollcage side and in-car bars, the original windscreen and a box of parts. 2 sets of keys included.
Very happy to discuss and share additional photos, a walk around video and details as required to help you as the potential second owner of this awesome Caterham.
Also very happy to receive sensible offers.
