Description
Up for sale is my Fantastic Ford Kuga St-LIne AWD 2L diesel that I have owned for the last 6years (purchased April 2019). This is my family car and not my daily driver so is used for longer trips or taking friends and family around.
In my time of ownership the car has been faultless, As soon as I bought it I paid for it to be on a Ford Service plan to ensure it was looked after. it has been serviced every year by Ford Trowbridge ( our nearest Ford garage) without fail.
The car was last serviced by Ford last monthand was Mot'd on the 15 Mar, on the Mot and service, it was picked up as an advisory that two of the tyres were close to the legal limit. We have replaced all 4 tyres now with receipt to hand. All 4 alloys are in fantastic condition, free from kerb marks or any lacquer peeling as you see on some cars!
Prior to my purchase of the car it had been previously damaged and repaired, it has been repaired to a high standard, that high, that I can't tell where any damage was or could have been. It was recorded Cat S on 31/10/18, I bought the car April 2019.
This never bothered me as the car looked brand new when I bought it and my husband is a fully qualified mechanic in case something did go wrong. Let's face it these days insurance companies write cars off for the smallest of things, like a bumper and headlight!
In the six years we have not had anything go wrong whatsoever. It has proved to be a fantastic family car and has never given any problems, just usual wear and maintenance items.
My husband changed the brake discs and pads, front and rear last year so they won't need doing for a long while. The car has had a new stop/start battery 3 months ago (over 160 from Halfords) so again, no problems for a long while. As with all the auto cars myself or husband have owned (husband has had many!) my husband likes to change the gearbox oil and filter, he changed the gearbox oil and filter early last year. Most manufacturers say the oil is good for life! My husband likes to change it just for peace of mind.
Although the car is an St-Line (sportier looks for an suv) when I got it, I wanted it to be different so I got my husband to source me the colour coded front lower lip spoiler, genuine Ford mudflats, side steps were added to make the car look chunkier and a colour coded roof lip spoiler was added also. Two red pinstripes were added to give the front a more sporty look rather than a boring suv (easily removed if that's not your thing).
