Landrover Defender TD5 2001 - 186000 Miles Selling my much loved Landrover Defender TD5 after 6 years of ownership. I have spent a lot of time restoring and maintaining it. Not only a lovely looking example, but the fantastic, rock solid TD5 engine has presented no issues and continues to run and start like a dream and will continue to do so. Also has a long MOT until April 2026. All manner of works have been carried out including new rear cross member, recent new clutch and outer respray in its original Coniston Green. I have kept parts invoices over the past few years as proof of some of this work. As mentioned in its MOT the front hubs are weeping due to wear and tear so will need attention. Unfortunately I do not have time to sort this but is only an advisory and is a matter of replacement parts. I have reflected this in its price. Oil leak mentioned has been rectified and this defender is leak free! As stated I have restored and maintained this defender including - -Replacement break pipes -Replacement break disks -Replacement rear crossmember -EGR Blank (More efficient) -Replacement Prop Joints -Replaced Windscreen -Door and window seals all replaced new -Door hinge and bolts all replaced new -Wiper arms replaced -LED side, indicator, break and fog lights -Recent New clutch (Drive train including transfer box inspected, no issues) -Outer respray in original Coniston green This defender falls into the lower tax bracket than some and is currently at about 350 to tax. A fantastic vehicle that is definitely worth considering. I will be sad to see it go. Inspections and questions welcome. Sensible offers considered.
