volkswagen Golf 1.4S for Sale - Reliable Daily Runner Up for sale is my VW Golf 1.4S - a great little daily driver with plenty of life left in it. It's been regularly used and well looked after, with no major issues. Recently had an oil and filter service done (around 300 miles ago), so it's good to go for a while. Mechanically solid - all gears work as they should, though there is a slight synchro issue (sometimes needs to be slotted into 3rd before engaging other gears smoothly). It's never been a problem for me, just one of those quirky VW things. Exhaust has a sporty note to it - occasionally sounds like a mini Formula 1 car. Might need a bit of attention depending on how loud you like it.
