Description
The ultimate in affordable luxury. This fantastic car has spent the last 60,000 miles cruising up and down the motorway, barely doing any town miles. The full leather interior, air con, smooth (and I mean smooth) gearbox and twin turbo engine make short work of the miles. Getting there is easy with the large screen sat nav (recently updated maps) and if that's not enough then the media package, with DAB radio, CD, Aux In, and Bluetooth all help make those miles melt away. Automatic headlights and automatic wipers are two more things you don't have to worry about.
If you're feeling a little sporty, dropping it into sport mode gives a completely different feel and response. The automatic gearbox does a better job that I can but the gearbox can also be put into sequential shift mode or go full out with the flappy paddles.
On the other hand, dropping it int eco mode nets you 60mpg+. Perfect for those longer trips when you don't want to stop.
Driving around town and parking is a doddle with all around parking sensors, rear parking camera with guides, and the extra side cameras giving 360 views. Automatic folding wingmirrors and dipping nearside mirror are included. Struggling with the shopping? No matter, the remote boot release lets you open the cavernous boot with a touch of the key fob. Remote lights also help if you can't quite remember where you parked.
The honest bits there are some scuffs to the bodywork and the alloys. Not a bit deal but those MSport alloys would look better tidier. The rear tyres will also need changing (rear wheel drive, plenty of power) and there is an upcoming service.
Work since I've had it. Serviced by BWM and my local independent, four name brand run flat tyres, EGR cooler recall completed, and new brakes all around. Other than that, it hasn't needed anything.
There isn't enough space left here to list all of the toys and joys this car has. It would be quicker to lost those it doesn't but if you do want to know, looks at the vehicle features (fair warning, you'll be there for some time).
Reason for selling is that I've just bought an X3 and I can't drive both at the same time!
