I have owned this car since November 2022 having done just under 7,000 miles mainly in the dry non winter months. Selling as my Porsche illness continues and I have just bought a 992 as a daily driver. I purchased it from Friends Green Porsche (FGP) in Herfordshire who are 997 and 996 specialists. In total it has had over 14,000 work done to it in the last 30 months to get it up to scratch and 'drives like new'. It is the last model year (2008) of 997.1 so has the later IMS bearing, has previously been checked for Bore score which was fine and burns no oil. Note it's usually the 3.8s that suffer from this and not the 3.6 according to the forums. Paintwork is in excellent condition, with only some very minor stone chipping to the front. It was machine polished by FGP before sale and I have cleaned it very carefully ever since. It comes with a storm force outdoor cover as well. The interior shows little sign of wear including the drivers side bolster which is better than most I have seen of this vintage. If I am being picky the handbrake could do with a re-colour back to black, and the near side headlight is showing some slight discoloration. It has a Milltek Sports exhaust which sounds fantastic and not overly intrusive.
