No noises anywhere except for plastic dash rattle (common for this gen of mini)
Clutch and gearbox still drives well
Supercharger whine healthy and pulls well
No bodywork rust or any signs of bubbling
Interior good condition
Always fuelled with 98/99 (E5)
The bad:
Car is 20 year old, body work - few bumps, few dents and scrapes but generally not too visible, a good polish will sort most of it out. Minor lacquer defect on a couple of edges.
Some surface rust under the car, MOT advisory, but easily sorted with a wire brush and some under seal. It was next on my list of things to do but simply don't have the time.
Rocker cover gasket could do with replacing, was quoted 200 for this
Non-standard items:
(Interior) All interior lights upgraded to high quality white LEDs, not replaced any of them since 9 years of ownership, Pioneer single din head unit will take SD card and have a USB port.
(Performance) K&N air filter in standard air box, scorpion cat-back system.
(External) Thule roof bars can be removed if preferred, bike carriers will be removed prior to sale.
