Description

Increasingly rare low milage, pampered Bam engined TT in iconic Misano red with disirable lunar silver silk nappa leather interior. I purchased the car 18 months ago in the belief that my main 160k identical TT may fail(an insurance policy) and as an investment and it has been maily stored in my father's heated garage. I went out and bought the best red TT with the best original unrepaired, undamaged paintwork. They're a couple of unnoticeable small chips but as a fan of originality, I have left them. Otherwise the paintwork/bobywotk is excellent. The car is pretty much nut and bolt correct as far as I can see. The car has FSH and good provenance, primarily owned by a lady who regularly drove 2k each year for 15 years and obviously garaged and very well cared for. I no longer have access to the garage and hence the reason for sale : plus my other 160k is in rude health. The car is not concours perfect but is showable, everything works as intended and it drives great, very quiet. This car may of interest to an investor, collector, someone that wants to make it concours or for someone looking for a comfortable reliable daily classic drive. It flew through the Mot, no adisories. And it doesn't need servicing for another 9k. Last service was comprehensive, Inc haldex, timing belt and water pump. Front wishbones were replaced about 500 miles ago and ac regassed a month ago so nice and cold. I removed the under engine tray last week and it was bone dry, no sign of any leaks or having leaked previously. The only work I have done on the car was to reinstate the original Bose stereo(sounds great, cd changer working) and replace the lcd in the dashpod as well as recolonising the interior. It's a remarkable survivor and has to be one of the best original paintwork red Mk1 TT's out there
