Description
The time has come for me to part ways with my treasured Landy! Loads of money (circa 28k) has been spent over the last few years.
Alas it now needs a bit of work to get through an MOT and because I have very little use for the vehicle (because of ULEZ rules) I'm sadly selling. This has the potential to be and remains one of the best examples of the TD5 era. I have no doubt it will be a true classic with a bit of attention. It looks stunning and needs to be seen in the flesh. This is a very reluctant sale.
The body is in excellent condition with a special LineX paint finish making it one of it's kind. LED upgrade lights all around including roof lights. The rear cabin has had two Masai side windows installed. The suspension has had a 2 inch lift and it has oversized wheels (33-12.5-15). There is a functional snorkel fitted (not just decorative!). The rear door holds a jerry can. Both front doors are brand new having been replaced last year and painted to match (circa 2.5k). A Masai roof rack and side steps have also been fitted. This makes it extremely versatile and functional.
The cabin is insulated and has leather / suede bucket seats in the front and four individual fold down seats in the rear. The central console has been upholstered to match the seats. It has a beautiful Exmoor Evander Wooden steering wheel.
The engine is a solid TD5 that has had no problems at all. New clutch refurbishment recently done, renewed brakes and new front shock struts.
The chassis now has some rust and this is what needs attention to get through an MOT.
For someone who loves or is desperate to own a classic dfender and is willing to spend a bit of money to sort the rust issues this will be a true gem worth holding on to.
