Description

I am selling our beloved 1993 Land Rover defender 90. The reason for this is we have had a change in circumstances (new daughter) which means that we can can no longer justify our Landy. Please see below the spec sheet, split into before and during our ownership. She's had quite the life. Prior to ownership As part of the refurbishment it has had new (all galvanised): Bulkhead (Galvernized) Extended Rear Crossmember (Galvernized) Outriggers (Galvernized) Sill Rails (Galvernized) Bumper (Galvernized) Corroded elements on chassis were removed, plated and fully shultzed waxoiled New Clutch Master And Slave Cylinder Cambelt And Waterpump Radiator Alternator Starter Motor Brake Servo Exhaust New Rear Drums And Shoes On Rear Handbrake And Adjuster Propshaft Wiper Wheel Box Kit Various Seals All oils, (gearbox, diffs etc) replaced Wheel Bearings All Door Hinges Black Steel Wheels General Grabber At Tyres Soundproofed and Carpeted Interior Wipac Led Lights All Round It has also had a recent complete respray in limited edition Landrover Woodcote Green (pearl) with a black roof. Since my ownership: It had had a major refurbishment, unfortunately by a hobbiest. Since my ownership I have taken the landy to a trusted landy specialist in Scotland, and invested over 15k in improving the landy and I have got them to, among a great deal other things; Replaced the chassis with a fully galvanised mallards chassis Built up new chassis with, new galvanised spring seats, galvanised turrets and bump stops all round. Replaced rear shock top brackets due to corrosion. Replaced fuel filler neck due to mounting being broken off, also replaced fuel tank breather as was very perished. Stripped down axles found both track rod end boots perished, track bar corroded and drag link end boot burst and pin corroded. Replaced. OSF spring mount been very badly replaced and welded on squint, NSF spring mount holed. Ground off and removed old mounts and welded on new mounts correctly, etch prined and painted to prevent future corrosion. Front axle breather pipe had been cut far too short so joined and extended. Rear axle breather blocked and pipe too short, fitted new end and a new longer pip
