Description

It's time for our Panda 4x4 to find a new home. 131.7K miles (call it 132K between friends!) That number may go up, but only slightly - the Panda's been usurped by the i3 behind it. I'm the 6th owner, and have owned it for the last 2.5 years. It has a full service history - proper full, not 'it's only missed 50% of services' that seems to constitute a FSH these days! It came without a service book and with the assistance of the supplying dealer I've reconstructed it - all stamped up (bar two - one of which has the invoice, and a car dealer who refused to re-stamp it because just unhelpful) Last service was at 131.3K a few weeks ago Two keys, one remote, one manual. Silver metallic, excellent paint with the odd chip. Everyone will look up its MOT history anyway, so not much to say there tbh. I have invoices for everything I've spent on it getting it back up to the condition you can see in the detailed photos. Amongst which are: Clutch, DMF & concentric slave replacement. Resealing leaking injectors New AC condenser - AC is what everyone describes as 'ice cold', but I'm pretty sure it won't really freeze water! Suspension parts, various as needed - everything is quiet and free from any knocks or untoward noises. Replacing OE plastic wheel with a later leather one which is much nicer to hold. Fixing a split drivers seat bolster with a leather insert, well-matched to the OE vinyl by a local classic car retrimmer. Recent Yuasa battery. Rear diff & gearbox oil change using proper spec Tutela fluids. Cleaning & lubrication of gear selector pin on top of gearbox - changes smoothly. Uprated headlamp bulbs. Tailored rubber mats all round, incl. boot. Door entry plates x5 Fitted with 185/65 all season tyres (same size tyre as the Panda Cross) plus 5mm spacers on the front wheels to ensure no rubbing at full lock because of the slightly different wheel offset. Regular alignment due to the 3rd World roads hereabouts, last one a couple of months ago. I'll also include 4 litres of Fuchs oil, a fuel filter and an oil filter, so that's the next service covered. Oh, and an external temperature sensor for the budding diy auto electrician to fit if desired - it was beyond my limited capabilities I'm ashamed to say ;) It's a properly sorted, well-kept and honest little Panda that has many years service left from its mighty Multijet! The mpg figure on the dash is over the last 5K or so miles IIRC - it won't go below 50 mpg in our hands, no matter what we do.
