Discovery 2 TD5 1999 Purchased from a mechanic who was selling on behalf of a family member. Vehicle had been used on a farm to cart horseboxes back and forth. I had purchased this to use with the kids on the weekend for a bit of an adventure and had to use this more for work than adventures! I started prepping it to be better equipped for these trips and never really got enough time away than we had thought. It's done more motorway miles than it has cross country. I've had the vehicle around 3 years and only really had an issue with the "3 amigos" which has been sorted and a pipe in the engine bay which would swell which has also been fixed. 2 inch Lift with springs and shocks Bump stops to suit New radiator within the last 5 months New Crankshaft pulley withing the last 5 months New timing belt spring within the last 5 months New timing belt within the last 5 months Crankshaft sensor replaced 2 years ago Copper brake line replaced passenger side 2 years ago Snorkel Fitted Front steel bumper Tow bar fitted from factory ACE Removed Diff Lock fitted through supplementary lever New Front discs and pads Wheels recently balanced Tyres starting to perish, tread still more than decent Carpet removed inside Chassis has had repairs in the past due to its age, will need further in the future. Fuel tank strap perished will need attention. Would suit someone with the time to address rust around fuel tank only reason for selling. I do need the proceeds of this vehicle to replace it with another so opportunistic offers will not be beneficial for both parties.
