For Sale: 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.6L Automatic - 3 Door Mileage: 130,000 (will increase with daily use) Meet Trevor, my trusty Grand Vitara. I've owned him since October 2023, but due to a change in job and personal circumstances, it's time for this capable little 4x4 to find a new home. Since owning Trevor, I've put a lot of time, care, and money into keeping him running smoothly. I have receipts for all the work and parts listed below. He's very much a work-in-progress but completely reliable and used daily. As expected from an '05 country car, there are a few cosmetic marks, but the chassis and body are solid. Work Done: 2 New Tyres - 12/01/24 New Radiator - 10/01/24 New Alternator - 28/03/24 New Thermostat & Housing - 28/03/24 Front Brakes & Discs Replaced - 15/11/23 New Coolant Temperature Sensor - 15/11/23 New CV Boot (N/S/F) - 17/01/25 Rear Coil Springs Replaced - 17/01/25 New Front & Rear Shock Absorbers - 17/01/25 Full Service (engine oil, oil filter, cabin filter) - March 2025 New Spark Plugs - March 2025 What Still Needs Attention: Rear Seat Belts - I have replacements, included with the sale, but haven't had time to install. EGR Warning Light - Occasionally appears, doesn't affect performance. Easy and inexpensive fix. Drivers side door lock: locks but doesn't unlock from the outside. The rest of the doors work perfectly. It'll be a real shame to part ways with Trevor - he's been a dependable and characterful car. But with older dogs needing easier access and my commute now being longer, it's time for me to find something more suitable.
