Description

LOCATED DARTMOUTH, DEVON 2001 (Y Registration) Peugeot 306 Cabriolet 1.8 16v Petrol Manual 80,000 miles Moonstone Silver MOT until17th December 2025 Owned since 2020 but have known the car since 2010 - Purchased from a neighbour! I've owned it from 58,000 miles and he owned it from 56,500 miles. He didn't do a lot of mileage in the 10 years, but the car lived under a covered car port for his entire ownership and was MOTd every year. Since my purchase the car has had: - New Timing Belt and all connected components, including the water pump (2020) - New Radiator and lower hose - New Cooling Fans x 2 - New LUK clutch kit - 3 New Brake Calipers (in the last 2 years) - New Discs and Pads all around (in the last year) - Replaced 80% of the brake pipes with copper/nickel anywhere that showed corrosion. (In the last 2 years) - New Goodrich Braided brake hoses all around (In the last 2 years) - New Handbrake cables (In the last year) - New SAC Clutch Cable - Recent New Battery - Longlife stainless Catback exhaust in 2021(Quieter than the original, but a bit more throaty) - New plugs and coil pack (in the last year) - New Front suspension arms,ARB Bushes, Drop links, Track rod ends, tie rods (Last month) - New N/S gearbox output seal (Last month) - New N/S Top mount (Last month) - Steering rack only just rebuild and installed - 407.00GBP rebuild alone (Last few weeks!) It's by no means perfect, the roof is looking a bit tatty inside and out but keeps the weather out. The driver seat leather is separating at the seam exposing the foam. But generally the car tidies up really nicely and looks presentable roof down in the sunshine. All the windows work, the roof works as it should apart from the fact it needs a little helping hand. The elastic webbing has stretched and you just have to give it a little push when opening and catch the front in the last stages of closing. Normally the elastic would have that tension at this point in the process. Power Steering pump is a little weepy, but replcement included with the car, I'm just out of time to fit it. Good speakers all around, but I will return the original Peugeot Head Unit to the car, although I could not find the FM aerial! NO Canvassers or resellers please. I work full time, so please leave a message if no answer. Test drive only with valid insurance cover.
