Description
1963 Triumph Herald Genuine Convertible 1200cc (1147cc)
61,600 miles. Sold with many new parts including starter motor, front calliper, battery, carburettor fuel pump, RH caliper, air filter, distributor, HT Leads and plugs + LOTS of supporting invoices of parts fitted by previous owner, and a complete set of restoration photos.
Also selling with lots of spares and accessories including 1 gallon castrol classic oil and filter, carb cleaner spray, dot4 clutch and brake fluid, coolant, diff oil, grease gun, pair of axle stands, wooden blocks, hydraulic jack, set of imperial spanner's, manuals (2), trickle charger etc.
Comes with tonneau cover. Upholstery and carpets are excellent. Subframe, bull bars, hood and tyres are all excellent. No rust. Paintwork is very good with a couple of small touch ups required. All electrics and dials are good. Everything is original.
Car currently starts without any issues and idles fine but very occasionally backfires, probably needs a carb adjustment or a clogged exhaust valve so reluctant to take it out - might be best to collect with a trailer. Currently SORNed anyway.
A great example of a classic sports car, cheap to run and maintain and a real head turner. Brilliant little car, possibly would benefit from a bit of a tune up/timing
Genuine convertible (see image of chassis badge) - beware - it was common back in the day for saloons to be 'chopped'
MOT, Ulez and road tax exempt, with very cheap limited miles insurance. Any questions, please ask.
