This car is a restored Cat N vehicle, completed to a high standard. Some work was completed by a local BMW specialist.
This specialist did work on remapping an ECG - a common problem with X1s this age - as well as looking over the health of the engine, exhaust and sensors. Work on a necessary sensor was completed.
The following was replaced after its accident: front slam panel, pedestrian protection system, fog lights, front bumper and gear box oil box. The gearbox oil was changed. So was the engine oil and air filter. It has had an unofficial service after the accident.
The only remaining damage is cosmetic - the bonnet at the front. This is something I personally haven't chosen to change. Only minor and doesn't affect driving performance.
