Description
My 2007 Bentley Continental GT is a particularly well-presented example of this refined yet highly capable modern classic grand tourer. It has been well cared for throughout its life, comes with two keys and has a service history primarily from main dealers.
Originally delivered new by Bentley Leeds, this example benefits from several desirable features, including a power-operated boot and 20" seven-spoke alloy wheels a sought-after option among enthusiasts.
Since purchasing the car, I have continued to maintain it meticulously and added a couple of quality-of-life upgrades. The first is a Bluetooth module integrated into the radio, allowing for music streaming and hands-free calls. The second is a professional five-year ceramic coating, which enhances the paint's shine and makes maintenance easier especially valuable for a black car like this, helping it to truly stand out in the sunlight.
The car is accompanied by excellent history, including invoices and MOT records dating back to its original registration.
In terms of recent maintenance, the car has received a new battery, spark plugs and ignition coils earlier this year. In late 2022, both rear brake calipers were replaced. Additionally, a full set of brake discs and pads was fitted in 2019, further demonstrating the car's consistent upkeep making it ready to be enjoyed for many miles to come.
The most recent MOT was conducted on 29th May 2025, with no advisories. However, a few minor issues are reflected in the asking price:
- Both front suspension arms have a slight amount of play, though not enough to be flagged on the MOT.
- Occasionally after a cold start, the engine may idle slightly unevenly ('fluffy'), but this clears after a couple of revs and does not return during normal driving.
- The rheostat for the heater fan has failed; however, this is a common issue and can be replaced easily at home with a new unit (approx. 250).
Aside from these small inconveniences, the car drives beautifully with no warning lights or mechanical faults. I purchased the car in late fall last year, and I found I didn't use it, and have only done 250 miles, so just sits under a cover with a trickle charger. I have a wide collection of cars, and while I have a lot of time for this car, I don't currently have enough time for it.
This car does NOT come with the private registration, instead it comes with a different private registration.
