Honest sale of my own weekend car, an exciting and beautiful Porsche Cayman 981 2.7 2013 in silver colour, low mileage, rare manual gearbox, in very good running condition, at a great price (selling to purchase a SUV for family duties) and verified mileage and mostly verified service history (serviced at Porsche Cardiff up to around 34k). This is the 981 gen with the latest flat-6 engine, which is bullet proof in terms of reliability and returns around 35-40 mpg on a run, if not more. Cheaper road tax bracket too. Ive had this car for over two years and I have enjoyed the Porsche experience. Registered in my name, at my house. no finance. Non-structural mishap years ago, fully repaired, before I purchased it. I will still drive it from time to time and so the mileage may go up slightly, in any case auto trader advertised mileage is actually more than real mileage (currently sitting just over 53k). Positives: Ultra reliable Very low mileage Mot ends on 30th November 2025 and covered less than 500 miles since last MOT. No advisories whatsoever at last MOT and should fly through the next one without any problems. Great engine, gearbox and has been carefully driven. At 50500, just under 2k was spent at Weston Porsche on service and the following work: 1203 on new brake discs all around, new pads And 672 on major service - incl, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, air filters, brake fluid and drive belt. The car has only covered just over 2500 miles since then. So plenty of life left and plenty of fun to be had for the new owner. Starts first time, every time. Great price for a real Porsche driving experience. Honest and private seller. Prics of flat-6 Porsches are increasing. Rare manual gearbox! You would normally pay thousands more for a non-cat and manual car. A real Porsche for a low price! Negatives: Cat N The bodywork is not perfect and there will be micro scratches and slight paint rectification needed on front bumper- but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the car. The stop-start has been disabled The aircon needs to be regassed and there is no chrono functionality on this model.
