2006 on the 56 plate Aston Martin 4.3 V8 Vantage Manual Originally supplied in Meteorite Silver with Iron Ore leather, the car has been transformed by its former keeper of 11 years to a Stratus White wrap with Carbon black roof and mirrors. The 19" 7-spoke alloys have been refurbished in gloss black with red callipers, along with the 7-bar grille, giving it a real presence. It has 4 former keepers and has covered just 60070 miles. There are 5 AM Main dealer stamps in the book and 4 services at the owner's own garage, which I believe had a reputation for selling specialist cars. The last service was at 58201 miles in Aug '22, where I'm told the clutch was replaced too. My intention was to bring the servicing up-to-date and rectify any niggles but I have discovered that the Cats have been removed from the car and feel that I'll not be able to complete it to my high retail standards so I'm offering it as is with the following list of jobs - Major service due, Alarm service due, Driver's door window needs a new regulator, Sat Nav screen does not open, Passenger door seal needs gluing or replacing, the radio works but there is no info on the screen, Tailgate struts are weak, the wrap is cracking in places, and the underside of the car is generally grotty from standing. On the positive side, it seems mechanically sound, drives as well as any I've had before and from 6ft away looks quite an eyefull. I estimated that it would cost circa £2-3k to reinstate the cats and do the jobs above to make it fully roadworthy, but I have since had another thought that someone would be interested in turning it into a track day or race car. Either way, there's some margin left to complete the jobs that you want to do. The retail value of a car of this age and mileage would be circa £25k.
