Description
Well its time to pass on my pride and joy as I'm getting to an age where its just sitting in the garage and needs to be driven and cared for another 50 years.
MGB Roadster 1.8 4 speed manual with overdrive in superb condition having been fully nut/bolt and brackets restored by myself during lockdown.
You will see from the pictures I stripped everything from the car and had it taken away on the back of a truck and resprayed Metallic British racing green.
When it was returned I fitted ALL new parts back to it with no expense spared,
complete new cockpit, carpets, leather seats, bur walnut dash, door cappings leather console, steering wheel, windscreen including frame.
Then a new front crossmember with castor correction, springs, dampers, stub axles, kingpins, 3/4" anti roll bar, steering rack, wheel bearings etc etc.
New fuel tank, sender & fuel pump, parabolic springs, telescopic dampers, Propshaft & seals, all engine compartment components were also replaced with new 123 electronic ignition, heater, servo brake master cylinders, aluminium radiator with 7 blade fan (never overheats even in trafic), upgraded alternator, all lights, LEDs on side lights and indicators.
All new brake discs with 4 pot callipers on front so no more brake fade, drums on rear renewed as well, I purchased 5 new bolt on wire spoke wheels that look amazing.
I have some "goodies" with the sale:- indoor cover, trolly jack, axle stands, grease gun, spare fuel pump, a lovely MG tool set wrap, dash pot oil can, brake bleeding pump to name but a few, I'm sure there's more.
I have a binder full of history including ALL MOTs from 1992 which is when the new Ivor Searl engine was installed now done 39000 mls.
I could go on but i think I've covered what is probably the best MG you'll see, it really does turn heads and creates lots of interest at shows.
Only interested buyers please, happy to answer any questions.
