Description

We've decided to part with our S-Max after many years of service. She's been a good runner, but it's time to go electric and we don't need a car this size anymore. We purchased back in 2019 when we were moving house and needed the additional space, but only need a mid-size now. In good condition for a car this age, but please see the photos for further details. There have been no major issues and we've always had work done on it either during the MOT or service. There have been no major mechanical faults, the air conditioning works really well and all the electronics etc seem sound. Not been a write off or fundamentally repaired. I've had an Android aftermarket stereo in the car. I've been trying to find the original. If I can find it I'll re-install the original stereo. If not I'll include the Android head unit with the car. The aftermarket unit has Android auto, but you can also load up your own music via SD card, and it supports things like maps, and android auto apps. It probably doesn't support Apple as it's a specific Android device. We got it with a few dents on it, and I've put photos of these in the ad. Apparently the previous owner didn't do these too. Please make sure you look at those before arranging to view the car. The battery is also going. The car will last a few days before the battery goes flat, but can be easily replaced. It's just not been an issue for us with how we use the car, so hasn't been worth our money to replace. We've also seen an engine warning light when driving long distances for more than an hour or two. But the issue clears when the car is turned off and on again. We took it to a garage but there's no issue in the logs when not present and I've ran an ODB2 scanner on it, which shows no issues. I can use the ODB2 scanner in person if you'd like to see results at the time of getting the car. I think this would make a great cheap large runaround for the right person. Obviously this is an old car, so it may only last a few years, but it seems to keep on going and seems fine to us. Happy to answer any questions.
