Description

Presented is my Mazda MX-5 for sale. It is the MK2.5 from 2004 in Arctic edition. The car has had a LOT done to it but it is finally time to say goodbye after several years of ownership. I cared for the car deeply, maintaining it and cleaning it regularly and regularly upgrading various parts. Here is a list of bits that I have had done it, the good bits and the bad bits. The price reflects the current market and the current condition of the car, unfortunately not accounting for the various upgrades I done over the years. Maintenance/upgrades: - Oil service done regularly with new filters/oil every ~5000 miles, most recently last year (2024) - Brakes (discs and pads) also done last year (2024) - Gearbox oil done last year as well (2024) - New mohair roof fitted (2022) - Interior of the car was originally black with blue seats - this has since been swapped with a rare beige interior - including lining, seats, door cards and various other pieces of trim (2022) - New original Sparco steering wheel (with fully working horn) upgraded (2022) - Upgraded polybushes on all suspension components (2021) - Set of 4 Michelin Crossclimate tyres fitted with plenty of thread still on (2021) - OEM bootrack fitted (2021) - Set of 4 spark plugs + extension leads (2021) - Stainless steel Gravity cat-back exhaust (2021) - New catalytic converter (2022) - Speakers upgraded in door cards (2022) - New alternator fitted (2020) - OEM-like Mazdaspeed front lip (2021) - these are incredibly rare and difficult to acquire in Europe - MAJOR rust repair done (2021) - this included engine mounts, sills, arches, side skirts, underbody - Following the major rust repair the entire car had a respray with OEM-matching Razor Blue (2021) - As part of rust repair, several suspension arms were replaced (2021) - New (rear I believe?) shock absorbers fitted (2021) - Set of original Arctic edition wheels refurbished and resprayed (2021) with 20mm spacers on all 4 corners for better fitment (2025) - Sun visors removed with additional interior lights fitted (2020) Good bits: - Comes with two sets of keys including a remote lock - Engine still extremely solid, never missed a beat - All of the upgrades above - No water leaks anywhere - Fresh MOT done in April '25 Bad bits: - AC currently does not work and will likely need a new condensor fitted - Although the car underwent a major rust repair, several suspension components have signs of surface rust (not structural but something to be aware) - as r
