Bought in June 2022 from a UK owner's group member as a reliable, spacious car to take my wheelchair-using father out but due to its height, he can no longer get in, so it's time to part ways. We've done 19,000 miles in 3 years, including UK trips and a drive to Germany in 2024 for the Aston Villa vs. Dortmund match. It's never let us down and I'd happily drive it across Europe again. We're attached to this car, but it deserves a new home where it'll be used properly. Highlights: - Totally reliable in our ownership - no major issues. Just a power steering cooler leak (fixed), faulty instrument display (fixed), and a sticky boot latch (also fixed). - Michelin Cross Climate tyres fitted at Costco 14k miles ago - still plenty of tread left. - Major work done in Nov 2022 by XC90 specialist Ryan Buck, who described it as "a very clean car!" - Extras: side steps, roof bars, Volvo rubber mats, boot cover, and tow bar (we haven't towed with it). Gearbox oil changed as a precaution. - MOT until Jan 2026, 2 keys, full book pack, and a thick stack of history. - 13 recorded services when we bought it, plus two more in our ownership - including the major work and a service 6,000 miles ago by a trusted mechanic I've known 20+ years. - Bodywork is excellent for its age - just a minor scuff on the front arch trim and a few small marks. Paint still looks great - feels bulletproof compared to newer cars. Less-than-perfect bits: - Has a non-functional aftermarket screen, never bothered us, but it may work again with a replacement (reverse camera wired in). - Heating sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, it hasn't really been a problem for us. - Heated seats are more "warm" than "hot". - Anti-skid warning light recently came on due to a failing ABS ring. I'll get this sorted unless you want to take it as-is, in which case I'll knock a couple of hundred off. Work done Nov 2022 (2.5k+): 1. Swirl flap replacement (Genuine Volvo) 2. EGR + DPF delete 3.
