Design & Features
Exterior: The Edition 1988 is finished in a bespoke Midnight Amethyst Gloss paint, which appears black under low light but reveals a deep purple hue in sunlight. It features Champagne Gold Satin 22-inch forged alloy wheels and Sunset Gold Satin detailing on the door mirrors, brake calipers, and the 'R' in the SVR badge.
Interior: The cabin boasts semi-aniline Ebony leather upholstery, open-pore carbon fibre trim, and Sunset Gold Satin accents on the dashboard, steering wheel spokes, gear shift paddles, and performance seats. Illuminated treadplates and a 'One of 394' SV Bespoke commissioning graphic highlight its exclusivity.
Performance: Powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 550PS, the Edition 1988 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 178 mph. It retains the standard SVR's performance capabilities, ensuring a dynamic driving experience.
Global Production: Limited to 394 units, each individually numbered to signify its place in the production run.
The Edition 1988 pays homage to Jaguar's racing heritage, particularly the XJR-9's triumph at Le Mans. It combines high-performance engineering with bespoke design elements, making it a collector's item for enthusiasts and a testament to Jaguar's commitment to excellence.
