For sale is my 2015 volvo v40 d2 1.6 automatic. It is sold as spares or repairs Good bits-interior is excellent, has no issues. Has been well maintained by me and been serviced mostly by me as well as along side additional log book services for the extended warranty. That includes Oil and filter every 5000 miles since 63k, new injectors, can belt and water pump done and gear box oli and filter every 2 years. Modifications wise it has a detachable tow bar fitted and a full size after market spare wheel as the kit is useless. Loads of life in the tyres left although the alloys have seen better days. Bad-it clearly shows sings of it's age. Has been hit by something in car parks and my instinct was to not claim on the insurance for many reason (had expensive enough insurance at the time without a claim). Cosmeticly the front off side wing has seen better days with dents and scuffs to the arch, wing, and bumper. There are other dings and scufss all around too which I have pictured most but probably not all of if I'm honest. It's a 129k, 10 year old car it's not going to be showroom. Mechanically it has a intermittent overheating issue that doesn't overly cause issues, I have had it with the fault for over a year and know the querks to just crack on with it, can do long journeys but not at 100mph let's be clear, as a daily driver of 30-50 miles it is absolutely fine. Have tried to fix by replacing-thermostat, water pump, coolent cap, deep flush, head gasket tested, and it was none of these. At this point I just needed a new car for family, I had planned to keep till it died but not turned out that way. Would be an easy fix I am sure for someone who knows the engine or can be broken for part. Will take the best offer recived by 1st July or first to pay asking price. Will drive away and comfortably do a long journey if you keep the heaters on.
