Description

Well loved, well spec'd and well maintained example of a Porsche 987.1 2.7L Boxster. Options include, extended leather pack, cocoa brown interior, 6 speed manual gearbox (very rare in the 2.7L as a factory option), Bose sound system and more! In addition, during my ownership I have added Bluetooth to the original PCCM system as a retrofit adaptation so you can play your own audio through the Bose system and truly appreciate those roof down moments. I have enjoyed every second of my ownership with this car and will be sad to see it leave but it needs another enthusiastic individual to continue its journey with! "Pasha" has been incredibly reliable and has ventured on numerous road trips across the UK and Europe to the likes of Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria all while averaging around 30mpg. Boring I know but on the longer stretches of motorway at 80mph you can get +30mpg out of it and over 400miles to a tank, the ideal road trip car when combined with the two boots. Prior to my ownership some 3 years ago, the cars engine was rebuilt at a cost of approx 4000 with all new bearings etc and since then has only travelled around 18k miles. Stacks of paperwork to prove all the work the car has had done over the years. Most recently the major service was undertaken at a local independent Porsche specialist along with fluid changes for the gearbox and brakes with the next minor service due April 2026, oil changed yearly in addition to the OEM servicing schedules. In addition, a Designtek valvetronic exhaust has been fitted and has been an incredible addition striking the balance between quiet motorway cruises and eccentric back road blasts where the noise is certainly one to be appreciated. In the last 2 months, the car has had new disks and pads replaced all round with upgraded Brembo disks and EBC red pads for additional performance under enthusiastic driving. As with everything in life, nothings perfect. If you were being picky, the wheels could do with a refurb to bring them back to there former glory. The rear main seal has a minor leak (typical Porsche problem) however I have not had this fixed as clutch was replaced only 20k miles ago. Selling due to a change in jobs that requires a more practical car to commute in (dull I know). Mileage will creep up to continue to make sure everything operates as it should and to make the most of the summer time. Any questions let me know.
