Description
This car is simply amazing, probably one of the finest examples in the UK. She has been mechanically rebuilt and had a brand-new Blueprint 302 fitted 6 months ago and is still on running in mileage. The previous owners did a full body restoration. She left Dearborn as a 302 and she had a 351 put in her at some point, so I returned her to stock. But Stock with this blueprint turned into a 361 BHP Monster! I have spent nearly 20k on her in the last year, she has had a brand-new blueprint engine, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Edelbrock AVS1 twin barrel carb, new fan and housing set up, new power steering pump, new wiring loom, uprated stainless-steel headers, all new ancillaries. New Door locks, vented discs at the front and reconditioned disc brakes at the rear. New engine mounts, new Torque Converter. The list is enormous.
She has so much Character and pulls like a train. The red contrasts the Corinthian vinyl perfectly. And the Magnum 500's set the look off perfectly. I bought her looking great but mechanically tired, and decided I wanted to get this car back to the muscle car she needs to be, I went a bit overboard but if you are going to do something then do it right! According to the Marti report she left Dearborn in May 1970 for an export dealer code, in lime metallic, specified with the 302-2v. She has a tilt steering wheel and the C-4 Cruise-O-Matic gearbox. At some point she went to Ireland, and then she came to the UK in 2022 according to the HMRC import paperwork. She then underwent a partial refurbishment, focussed mainly on the cosmetics and bodywork. I bought her early last year and rebuilt or replaced everything else.
A classy muscle car that has the reliability of a brand-new car!
