Description
Welcome to the sale of my 2013 Citroen C1 VTR+ in striking 'Botticelli Blue'.
I purchased the car in 2021 as a sensible, but cheap and cheerful, replacement for the old Fiesta I had at the time, and it's been exactly that - totally reliable and cheap to run. Ignore the "official" mpg figures for this car - they're a tad optimistic, as most are, but you can realistically achieve 50+ mpg, even with the air-con going.
The car had covered around 32,000 miles when I purchased it, with full Citroen service history. I have since driven the car a further 16,000-odd miles, during which I have serviced it myself, receipts for which are included. It's had an engine oil and oil filter change every year, using Bosch filters and Citroen's recommended Total Quartz Ineo ECS oil, the most recent oil change being 21/06/2025. It's had Bosch cabin/pollen and air filters, and a set of Denso spark plugs. The garage I use for MOTs also changed the brake fluid and re-gassed the air-con, and the latter still blows cold. The battery and rear tyres were replaced in 2024.
The car has no broken or missing parts. It retains the often-lost parcel shelf, and had the indicator stalk replaced with a genuine Citroen part when I bought the car - a common issue with these cars is the stalks wearing out such that the indicators don't work all the time. The spare tyre, jack, emergency fuel filler, and locking wheel bolt key are all present and in good condition. The car also comes with 2 genuine Citroen remote keys.
If you know anything about these "city bugs" (Aygo/C1/107) you'll know they can leak rainwater, so you'll be pleased to know that the rear light seals have been replaced, and additional seals fitted above the doors and tailgate, courtesy of X8R who make a great kit for these cars. As such, this car no longer leaks, and I'll throw in the leftover seal I have should you ever need to replace any.
If the buyer is interested, I will also include in the sale a Haynes manual and the leftover engine oil from the most recent service, should you wish to service it yourself next year (there's enough oil for a full change).
I also have a set of genuine Peugeot/Citroen roof bars which I will offer at additional cost.
Test drives are welcome provided you can provide evidence of insurance cover, otherwise I'm happy to take you for a decent run in the car to demonstrate it's performance and characteristics.
No warranty is implied or given - sold as seen.
