Due to the impending arrival of a tiny human I'm listing my manual 987.2, had it just over two years and used it to commute between Nottingham and London - hence the mileage. Well maintained and looked after by a specialist during my ownership. Undoubtedly shows signs of its age and mileage but mechanically solid. In my ownership I've replaced the front shocks, all springs, all top mounts, either front or rear suspension arms, air oil separator, MAF sensor, clutch master cylinder and gear cable. Along with routine service and maintenance including spark plugs, brake fluid and brake discs and pads. The car does need new front tyres and wheel balance. There is also a button missing from the head unit, I've been waiting for Porsche to release the PCM+ for the Gen 2 but if it really bothered the new owner they could replace the existing unit or add an aftermarket head unit. The paint is as you would expect for a car of this age with a few stone chips on the bonnet and scuffs around the roof rack mounting points. There is also a chip in the windscreen on the passenger side which has been professionally repaired but is still visible in some lights. Interior shows signs of wear but generally holding up pretty well. This isn't a car for the concours collector to display but if you're looking for a very affordable way to own the very reliable Gen 2 987, to enjoy one of the best chassis every made, a hydraulic steering rack from the gods and endless flat six soundtracks then this is the car for you. It's been my only car for the last two and a bit years where I've put over 50,000 miles on it and it's never failed to get me where I needed to be. I've loved my ownership and hope the next owner will enjoy it just as much. In no rush to sell so please no silly offers, though I would potentially entertain part exchange for something I can put a baby seat in. 120d, 125d, 320d, Skoda Yeti, etc Thanks for taking the time to read my listing!
