Here for sale is my MK5 Golf 1.9 TDI (07) Match Edition - 119k miles This car has treated me incredibly well since ownership in 2017 and has been religiously serviced and looked after since purchase; all maintenance has remained at the same garage and it has a full-service history. It has never broken down. Primary reason for sale is due to a relocation to London, with the car being incompatible with ULEZ. The motor has a MOT due 30 July 2025, which is after my moving date. There are however issues with the vehicle which I would fix myself but cannot justify. Primarily the EGR is enroute out, quoted as a 400 future repair job: the car overboosts at times. This has been beyond reflected in the price - full working condition would've been listed at the market rate of 1800 for its low mileage. MOT test number (from prior MOT): 7465 4219 5371 Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories): Rear Registration plate deteriorated but not likely to be misread (0.1 (b)) Offside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint has slight play (5.3.4 (a) (i)) Rear Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i)) Nearside Rear Coil spring corroded (5.3.1 (b) (i)) Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (1.1.14 (a) (ii)) Nearside Rear Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing (5.2.3 (d) (ii)) Front Exhaust mounting defective - exhaust mounting on subframe (6.1.2 (a)) The overall paintwork is in good condition and looks excellent from normal viewing distance. A few scratch marks, superficial scratches, and minor dent in plastic rear bumper are evident but to be expected from a car of its age. Very minor signs of rust but not impacting any panels significantly The interior is in good condition and will be professionally valeted before collection. She does have signs of wear: the cloth interior on the driver's side door and sunglasses storage overhead is coming away from the seams - an easy fix for somebody with the time to rectify. Again something best inspected in person. GPS head unit replaced with a bluetooth stereo unit to improve car speakers. Comes with 2 keys: one electronic and one manual. The car can electronically central-lock 3 out of 4 doors (excluding the driver's door). Only the driver's door can be opened while the system is locked, which will trigger the alarm. Manually locking the car with the key secures all doors. I welcome viewings and test drives by responsible drivers not looking to RPM red line.
