Sad sale of my 1993 Peugeot 205 1.9CTI Convertible long term project as I can no longer drive a manual due to ill health. The car has covered 94271 miles but not used much for the last few years. The V5C says it is blue but the colour is actually dark green which Peugeot call Atlantic Blue. Bodily its condition is what you would expect with its age and is showing a few dings and scratches. The alloy wheels have been refurbished (powder coated a dark grey) and all the tyres were renewed at the time. Mechanically it is very good having had the head gasket, timing belt, water pump and tensioner replaced. It has also had a complete set of silicone coolant hoses. A new battery has been fitted but it suffers from the usual Peugeot electrical gremlins. These show themselves as some of the gauges not working all the time, and the electric roof pump not running but the roof can still be put down by hand. Daytime running lights are fitted which come on when the engine is started. Interior wise everything is good except both front seat bolsters which are worn and need to be recovered. The rear screen has a split in it which has been taped up and the roof has a small hole but neither of them leak. The car has no current MOT so no test drives and it will have to be collected by trailer. The car comes with various spares. In conclusion, this 205 is not perfect but can be used with confidence.
