It has been sold from friend to friend. Absolutely tonnes of invoices, mostly main dealer, showing huge amounts of work done. This includes 6,000 pounds worth of welding at the main dealer. This is not my first Jag, but is absolutely the best engine and gearbox I've ever had in one. Puts my XJ8 to shame. Cosmetically, there is lots of room for improvement. A relatively small amount of money at a body shop could make it much better on the eye. The headlining is also pinned up. Last time I replaced one on a Jag, the pre made lining was 200 pounds and I fitted it myself in a couple of hours. Just did a long trip up to Norfolk and back and engine oil has stayed bang on max and is completely clean. It's the only Jag I've ever had which doesn't burn oil, and the factory top up kit is still in its packaging in the boot. All original handbooks, toolkit etc present. All in all, an incredibly quick and reliable car, which could look as good as it drives with a little love. Regretful but necessary sale.
