For sale is our 2009 VW Golf as we're going down to 1 car. 3 owners (2 previous to us). 1.4 petrol. 7 speed automatic DSG gearbox. Front and rear parking sensors. Serviced and MOT'd in June 2025 (earlier this month). Timing chain replaced at the end of 2024 at John Austin in Marks Tey using genuine parts. 4 new tyres earlier this month. Bad points. There is some paint peel on the rear bumper (see photos). There is a small mark on the front bumper (see photos). Not a lot of paperwork from previous services - the book has been stamped but no invoices etc. The alloy wheels are corroded, this can be fixed with a wheel refurbishment. They are all holding air fine, it's purely cosmetic. A small oil leak was picked up on the latest MOT. The garage advised it wasn't an issue, we've seen a small amount of oil on the driveway but it doesn't seem to be causing any problems. V5 present. Car will be valeted prior to sale. No swaps please.
