Here I have for sale is my Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK bugeye on 75760 miles. The car is in great shape with many people commenting on its bodywork and general condition. The World Rally Blue paintwork is in good condition. I've recently resprayed the bonnet scoop because of a small amount of lacquer peel, a common known issue with these. There are the small chips / blemishes that you would expect with a car of this age. Over the Impreza's lifetime, every MOT has been passed first time and there have only been 2 advisories on its MOT history and these were for incorrectly spaced number plate letters. This is surely something that is pretty hard to find on these cars especially as the car is nearly 23 years old ! A sign its been looked after and one of the reasons I bought it a few years ago. The suspension was changed in July 2022 with the Pedders kit. This slightly lowered the car which looks great, reduces the roll slightly but keeps the same ride comfort as before. The Cambelt was changed in June 2022. The brake pads were changed recently also with Black Diamond on all corners. Bridgestone tyres all round with loads of tread left. The car drives very well. All gear changes are spot on with no crunching at all. There are no unwanted noises or knocking bar a small knocking in the boot which I have not been able to track down, it does not cause any issues. The boost comes in strong, just as it should and there are no further modifications apart from the said suspension changes and also a genuine Prodrive exhaust back box. I have both original alarm keys and the original booklets and manuals, there is also lots of paperwork to show the history and maintenance of the car. It will be sad to see this go but I feel now is the right time. With only 3 previous owners, one of these being my son who I bought the car from nearly 4 years ago, and having low mileage and great condition and MOT history, this car would be perfect for the weekend drive enthusiast or a wise investment for somebody who appreciates Subarus.
