Description
Non-Runner. It does roll, brake and steer. But recommend a flat bed to pick it up.
Wanted a large family car especially for camping and taking children's friends back for playdates after school as we are a little rural. Worked great for that purpose, have had quite a bit of work done on the car, but with the turbo blown not economical to continue myself. Properly fixed would resell for a good margin.
2 Keys, Manual, towbar, and partial service history. Good tread left, changed at last MOT. Original turbo (broken), and spare air filter included. MOT until Oct 2025.
So the history from my perspective:
Timing kit done previous owners.
Bought Oct 2023, new Clutch 6months later, and new front drivers side coil spring.
Real problems began Christmas 2024;
Mas flow error popped up. Diagnostic done. So new mass flow sensor installed. Also new battery, and new full set of glow plugs. Error comes back.
First garage misdiagnosed as DPF issue, so DPF removed, professionally cleaned and reinstalled. Error came back, so back to them forced regen, error came back. Different garage finds tube to sensor is blocked, and not sealing around DPF, unblocks tube and cleans DPF, no leaks remain.
2 months later rear discs and pads low. New rear discs and pads fitted.
End of March 2025, turbo made strange sound and vehicle needed to be recovered with thick smoke coming out of the exhaust.
Replaced turbo. Car started without error lights. However on acceleration turbo seal leaked into engine and feedback led to turbo runaway. Note engine was stopped by blocking air intake before engine failure. Suspected oil return pipe blockage.
Paint work some scratches and small dents. Upholstery pretty good condition, would benefit from proper valeting inside and out.
Other than the major turbo work, no known issues. Car has been on drive since March.
