This clean example was bought new and kept in the family until a few years ago when I happened upon it, it hasn't been very far since my ownership. I stored it for a year or two with the intention of keeping it until it became a classic, but a change in circumstances mean a hasty sale. You'll find a clean mot certificate until may 2026 among pretty much every option ticked for the car at the time, including an original car phone from the period, that I'm told was one of the first in the UK (but I have no paperwork proving that). I do however have paperwork regarding a light restoration it had before I bought it, as well as some welding I had done to get it through the last mot. Everything works... apart from the sun roof, which has worked, but keeps blowing fuses, so my guess is a duff motor, though I haven't diagnosed it further, every other modern convenience on the thing works just fine, that includes the electric drivers seat, heated front seats and electric windows all round, standard stuff we see everywhere now. The only bits of rust I can find are in the corners of the boot lid, and below the nearside rear light, easily treatable with time and patience I no longer have, a picture of this is the last one in the selection posted in the ad. Its never failed me, which I found surprising given the reputation of this company at the time, nothing but a gentle but assertive kick in the back when you out your foot down, no fuss, but what else would you expect.
