Description

2011 BMW X5 3.0 40D M Sport SUV 5 Door Diesel xDrive, 91810 Miles (will rise slightly), 2 Keys, 3 previous owners since new, service book showing full service history, 7-Seater in Carbon Black Metallic with black leather interior, fully working iDrive system with satellite navigation, both front seats are fully electric & heated, electric folding mirrors, electric panoramic roof, front and rear parking sensors, 20" M Sport Alloys, roof rails, xenon head lights, front fog lights, detachable tow bar c/w 13 pin electrical connector (I also have an adaptor to reduce to 7 pin). Regrettably selling due to a change of job and I no longer have a need for this car. The car drives very well, everything works correctly and during my 2 year ownership any issues I have found I have had replaced or repaired by a local BMW specialist, all MOT's and services have been carried out by the same BMW specialist. The car looks great and polishes up very well from viewing at a very small distance. Unfortunately, the car does have age related marks with a few marks that will need professional attention i.e. spray paint repairs but nothing major, the alloys could also do with a refurbishment. Works carried out during my ownership - New EGR valve unit installed but this was later programmed out of the system by the local BMW specialist, new rocker breather pipe, both rear suspension airbags & compressor unit replaced with new, engine calibration & EGR delete, electric detachable tow bar installed, new cam cover due to oil leak (engine fully cleaned with degreaser), NSF outer CV joint gaiter replaced, engine oil level sensor recently replaced, 3 services, 2 x MOT's & 4 oil changes. Bad points - the car suffers from age related marks such as stone chips, mainly the front bumper and bonnet, various areas with swirl marks, front bumper has a little dent, the rear bumper has scratches and a dent from the previous owner (local body works specialist quoted 300 to repair), rear drivers side has a few scratches & the alloys need a refurbishment. I had planned to get all this sorted during my ownership, but this was not possible due to the above-mentioned repairs which I had no option but to prioritise. The timing chain has not been replaced on this vehicle, the BMW specialist I use has advised the timing chain does not need replaced yet as the engine is not making any of the noticeable noises, sluggish accelerating or overheating that would indicate the timing chain is due replacing.
