For sale is my trusty 2009 hilux. Owned for 5 years and maintained to compliment a busy working life, where a reliable and competent vehicle were essential. Milage is high, but all 4 injectors were replace with brand new around 20k ago, along with Manifold and egr clean. Timing belt done at around 180k, interval is every 100k I think. Has a heavy duty pedders 2 inch lift front and rear, with upgraded upper and lower control arms and poly bushes. Has a front mounted auxillary trans oil cooler. Et-32 tough torque steel wheels, with bfg ko2 285/75R16 tyres, including full size spare. Has upgraded front and rear lights. Rear crossmember was partially replaced last mot due to corrosion, a known fault, but rest of chassis it good. Had a gearbox rebuild Feb '23 and drives great, however, engine light has been on since, throwing up code P0741. Been back to several places to cure but to no avail, we have changed mechanical parts, solenoids etc and it persists. Drives fine tho, last thing is torque converter itself, just never had the time or inclination to swap it seeing as it drives ok. Regularly serviced and maintained to a very high standard with upgraded parts where possible. All gears and low range work perfectly. Some interior damage and the radio doesn't work, but I never minded. I have sealed the canopy windows shut because of water ingress and she is now bone dry. Cruise control doesn't work. In all, a reliable and very tough workhorse that has never let me down. Only reason for sale is I need something a little more professional looking for work now.
