As a lotus enthusiast and importer of japanese cars for decades, i looked for over a year for a Elise of this standard and low mileage to bring to the UK - The Japanese are renowned for taking care of their sports and prestige vehicles and they do not use salt on the roads meaning a well cared for corrosion free elise in this case. This is a 2005 model fitted with the K Series Rover Engine (18K4F) producing 120BHP at the rear wheels. The engine and gearbox are in excellent order, we have just taken the opportunity to give the lotus a major service including Full Engine Oil Service and coolant New Bosch Spark Plugs fitted New Water Pump New Timing Belt and Tensioner 2 New Front Tyres Fitted (Nankang NS20) Weve also taken out a 2 Year comprehensive warranty on the car for the new owner. Weve also had Clear Paint Protection Film (PPF) fitted to the rear arches/quarters to provide stone chip protection for the new owner when using it on UK roads. The Private registration E25 LTS and the domed Gel plates are included in the sale with the lotus. The Elise comes with the original SoftTop in excellent condition (please see the pics) as well as the body coloured Hard-Top also in flawless condition.
