Here is my Mercedes SLK 280 (Facelift) 3.0 V6 that I have owned for the last 20 months. The car has never skipped a beat and has been very reliable. Selling as I've had a child and unfortunately my partner won't let me strap the baby to the roof when we go on family days out (joking of course!). The car has had 11 services (with an average of 3500 miles between each service), including a B (major) service September last year. Some of these services have been oil and filter changes carried out by previous owners. MOT is due the start of October. I corrected any advisories from last years MOT. The car had a subframe inspection just over 2 years ago by Mercedes Benz, who stated that there were no issues with it. The car has about every option you could possibly want, front and rear sensors, air scarf, heated seats, automatic folding mirrors when you lock the car, speed limiter and a 9 speaker sound system. It's extremely quick, especially if you put it into manual mode. The car has 3 drive settings, comfort, sport and manual. The paintwork is about what you would expect for a 16 year old car, it's not 100% perfect, but I would say is in good condition considering its age, with a few minor surface scratches or stone chips. Unfortunately the driver side front wing has the dreaded paint bubbling (pictured), but I'm sure this could be fixed by a body shop, I have knocked the price down 500 pounds to reflect this so the buyer can get this fixed. Alloys are in decent condition generally, with a couple of small scuffs on them. Tyres and brakes all have a lot of life left in them. The interior is in good condition, with a small stain on the passenger seat (pictured), I will try to get rid of this with some leather seat cleaner. Both seats are full leather, as is the steering wheel. A minor issue which I have encountered is that the cd changer seems to have a CD stuck in it and makes a strange noise for a couple of minutes when you start the car this does not affect the radio or Aux features. The rubber seals have been looked after and lubricated every few months, with the vario-roof in working order also. Mileage may go up slightly as I still use this car.
