Selling my 2012 Toyota iQ - it's been a good little car and very economical to run. It's currently on 68,000 miles (still in daily use for a short 3-mile round trip, so may go up slightly). I've been averaging around 50 MPG.
Road tax was free when I first got it, but I believe it's now 20 a year. The car passed its MOT recently and it's valid until 28 June 2026.
I've been servicing it myself every 6,000 miles, changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, and pollen filter. I also changed the front brake pads at the start of June 2025.
I took it to France in September 2024 and it never skipped a beat - really reliable and runs well.
It's a Category N due to previous damage to the front bumper and screen wash reservoir. Both have been fixed - the bumper isn't the prettiest but it's solid and gets the job done.
The paintwork overall isn't in the best condition, but mechanically it's sound. Would make a great cheap-to-run car for someone - ideal for city driving, commuting, or as a first car.
Only selling because I've decided to upgrade to a bigger car.
